This makes it easier to maintain the unit and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it still requires manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dust bin holds 2.4L of trash, which is enough to get it through five or four cleaning sessions before you need to replace it.
Similar to the i7, this model also uses the latest floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only keep one map, whereas the i7 can store multiple. The i7's map can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones but not for the i3+ EVO.
Although the i3+ EVO is more effective at picking up dirt and debris from surfaces than the other robovacs that we tested however, it's not the most effective for cleaning edges and corners. It is also less gentle on furniture, despite being remarkably quiet. It pulled chairs away from walls, and made some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and got stuck on cords and toys while testing.
2. Black & Decker Q5 Pro
If you're looking to expand your collection of robot vacuums or just starting out with the Q5 Pro is a great option. It has a sleek design with powerful navigation and effective automation at a reasonable price. It's the most efficient pound-for pound model available today and is even better than some of Roborock's much pricier models in many ways.
This robot does a fantastic job of cleaning floors that are not clean, and its avoidance technology helps it stay clear of furniture legs and other obstacles. It also performs well on carpets and scores an excellent score in our navigation tests. The only issue is that it's noisier than other models and doesn't do better in our user-satisfaction and predicted reliability assessments.
The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust container of 770ml, meaning that you won't need to empty it as often as other 2-in-1 robots. Its 240-minute runtime is also very generous compared to others we've tested. When the battery is running low, it will automatically return to its dock where it recharges and then resumes cleaning where it was when it stopped. You can control the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
This is one of the first robots we've seen to incorporate 3D mapping. This, along with other innovations, makes it do exceptionally well in our mopping and vacuuming tests. You can plan cleaning schedules, create no-go zones and see the status of the battery among other things. The app is easy to use, but it isn't compatible with Apple HomeKit which is slated to be added in 2025. Apple updated its website's footnote in November of this year to reflect that the feature was delayed until 2025. A few other robots aren't compatible with HomeKit However, many of them are compatible with Siri Shortcuts.

The TP-Link Tapo R30 Plus robot vacuum cleaner is a great option if you're looking for a machine that is able to mop and is affordable. It comes with a plethora of features at a reasonable cost and features a stylish design. You can control it using the buttons on the device, via the app or even by using voice commands. The Eufy iMop is one of the best full-featured robot vacuums and mops for hard floors. It has a high-tech mapping system that can map your home across several floors. And the extremely well-designed base station virtually automates the cleaning process. It also offers impressive obstacles-avoiding and navigation.
This model utilizes an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map out your home and devise efficient cleaning routes. The iMop was rated highly for its accuracy and navigation. It also did a great job avoiding obstacles like furniture. It's also able to return to the base station which is a nice feature in the event that it is unable to recharge its battery during a cleaning session.
It also has a spot cleaning mode that allows you to mop or clean the specific area of your floor.
